CIOTR publishes 1 peer-reviewed open-access journals at the forefront of intelligent operations research, artificial intelligence, and intelligent technology. Each title is independently edited by domain experts and follows the same rigorous standards of peer review, ethics, and open scholarship. Together they cover machine learning applications in operations and supply chains, decision analytics, edge and intelligent computing, and the engineering applications of AI — with each journal maintaining its own scope, editorial board, and submission portal linked above.
Our flagship title is the Journal of Smart Computing (JSC), a biannual open-access journal (ISSN 2979-8752, CC BY 4.0) founded in 2025. JSC publishes work on smart computing, machine learning applied to operations and supply chains, decision analytics, and edge and intelligent computing. Authors choose our journals for a review process that is both rigorous and predictable: manuscripts are screened on submission, assigned to an editor within days, and reviewed by at least two independent experts under a documented policy rather than an ad-hoc one. Decisions come with specific, actionable feedback, whatever the outcome. There are no hidden charges — our fee structure, where one applies, is stated plainly before submission, not buried in the acceptance email.
Because CIOTR also operates the CIOTR Journal Index (CJI), we understand indexing and discoverability from both sides of the process, and we build that experience into how our own journals are structured — from citation metadata to submission-to-decision timelines.
All submissions to our journals undergo double-blind peer review by domain experts. Our editorial processes are grounded in the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and reflect the best-practice standards of the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).
Our journals are fully open-access under Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) licences. Authors retain copyright; readers gain unrestricted access. Articles receive Crossref DOIs and are deposited for permanent archiving in CLOCKSS and Portico.
