Authors retain copyright of their work and grant the journal a license to publish.

Author rights

Authors who publish in the Journal of Smart Computing retain the copyright of their work. By submitting a manuscript, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish the article and to identify itself as the original publisher.

Licensing

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Under this license, anyone may copy, distribute, transmit, and adapt the work, provided that proper attribution is given to the original authors and source.

Reuse permissions

Because articles are openly licensed, third parties may reuse them without seeking permission from the authors or the publisher, as long as the original work is properly cited. Authors do not need to request permission to reuse their own work in subsequent publications, but should cite the original article.

Third-party content

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any third-party material (figures, tables, extended quotations) included in their submission, and for ensuring that such material is appropriately credited.
